My Passion and Second Home

there are many passions that i have, but if you know me and have talked to me you will know that one of my greatest passions is FINLAND and not just the land, but also the people, the culture, the food, and most things associated with it. having served my mission i grew to love this place and all that comes with it. i think i love this place so much because i had to work so hard in learning their language, culture and ways. i lived amongst them, i taught them, i walked all over helsinki and tampere (cities in finland), to find the elect and those that would listen to us. the time i was there was probably the hardest times i have ever gone through, but at the same time the most rewarding. finland is a place that i found more of myself, got out of my shell, and gained a better understanding of the gospel. i also found a lady, who became my best friend and part of my family forever.

i have officially been home from finland for 18 months, the same amount of time that i was on my mission. in august i will be going to my second home, finland to show my parents the great and beautiful place that it is. i cant wait!

New Beginings!

Wow it sure has been a long time since i last wrote on here. well i just ended 2 semesters and moved out of bountiful court. there has been so much that has happened in the last 8 months and now it is all coming to an end.

this morning i took my last final at 7 am until 10 am. it was a big duzy! it felt so so good to just be done with all my finals. it is one of the best feelings, a sense of accomplishment. right when i finished my lovely final i headed home to finish cleaning checks, whish had to be done by 11. yup thats right, 11 am. wowsers, it has a little stressful, but we got it all done in the nic of time.

check final, check appartment! done and done!

that place was so clean and my car was stuffed!

well i am now at my home with my parents until monday, because my house i am moving to willnot be ready until monday. until then i am spending time with friends and family. on my way home i stopped by my good friend julie's place to have lunch with her and my best pal rach.

i love this time of year, ending one thing and starting something new. i love that winter is gone and spring is here. i love the green leaves blooming, and the flowers coming up. i love the rain and the semi warm air. everything just feels so new and exciting. i am excited to start a new adventure living with rae in a house in a new ward. i know i will gain a lot more experience and knowledge. i am looking forward to all the new begingings.

ps: to anyone who read this, sorry about the randomness of it. ( i finally wrote johnny!)
